The novice and Great Lakes Elementary Wreslting League seasons are officially over at EYWC. 

Our novice wrestlers progressed very well since late November - nearly 75% of our wrestlers placed at the FLB Bison Bracketed Novice tournament.  A few brave souls are going to stick it out and keep training for the PA Junior Olympic Wrestling Tournament (JO's) coming up in March.

Our GLEWL team members took home the 3rd place team trophy at the league championship tournament held this past weekend.  This was somewhat unexpected given how young our team was this year.  We had three champions, four runner-ups, two third place finishers and one fourth place finisher.

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our EYWC members that participated in the FLB Bison Bracketed Novice and GLEWL tournaments.  The "second" season is now upon us so let's not celebrate our past accomplishments for too long - JO's are just around the corner so it's time to refocus and ramp up the intensity of our preparations!
